BOOKOFF Monterey Park

Super clean nice used bookstore where everything was alphabetized. Good variety of items, some items were a decent price while other were priced higher. A lot of people and the staff was helpful. Gotcha machines were pricey but fun vibes.

I’ve visited this store a few times and was impressed by the variety they carry—everything from collectibles and old games to books, DVDs, and vinyl records. The selection is diverse and well-organized, and I’ve found some great collectibles here at very reasonable prices.nnHowever, when I brought in items to sell, the offer was surprisingly low, which left me a bit shocked. For now, I’d rather hold onto my items instead. That aside, it’s still a great spot for browsing and finding unique treasures.

First time finding out about this store, thanks to my brother! This is a cool location! They have figurines, console games from the PS3, to the wii, the wii u, they have Nintendo switch games at affordable prices, and they have books, DVDs, and a lot more!! I was really surprised by how much is in there!

This is our first visit to Book Off. We are normally not just hanging around in Monterey Park, but we had a lot of time this visit and I love a bookstore. This is mostly used books. They also have CDs and other items.nnThey have a great selection of books. Their prices are a tad high, but not insane. It is my understanding that they don't pay much for books you bring into sell, but I have found that to be true where ever I go. I just don't bother anymore and give my books away.nnThe service is great. They know where the books are, there are so many, and they will actually help you and not just point in some direction.nnParking is easy and free.nnThe place is packed with books, but you can get through with no problem.nnI found a couple of books that I did not have and have not had the chance to read.nnAll in all I was very happy.

Went here multiple times, either to browse, buy, or sell. All three types of experiences were pleasant. The staff are very nice, the buying and selling processes were very straightforward, and the items on the shelves are dangerously tempting (both new and used). Highly recommend coming here if you are an anime enthusiast, figure enthusiast, retro enthusiast, etc…
