We found this gem today. Great service. We got two books, one for my 10 yo and one for me to start. Can't wait for next month's book club, to get into more daily reading.

This LGBTQ+- woman-owned bookshop is an absolute delight. From the warm hospitality of the store owner to the layout of the space to the thoughtful creation of the titles. In the time I visited, regulars were receiving hugs and newcomers were receiving thoughtful recommendations. They host book clubs in a beautiful space upstairs. The neighborhood is lucky to have the shop!

In a city, filthy with wonderful bookstores, Bishop and Wilde stands apart. The curation slaps. The space is lovely. Melissa is the best and everyone should know it. The vibes are vibing. I’ve heard that all the pretty handsome smart people in town buy books here. Are YOU handsome? Then you should probably buy books here and hang out. My fave book store in all the land.

What a jewel box of a bookshop! Small, intimate, and lovely, this shop offers a well-curated collection that is heavy on queen and women authors of all genres. The light is honeyed and the vibes are smooth. Great for bibliophiles and shop-aesthetes.

A very captivating space for an enjoyable, easy, and inviting way to browse books and find your next read is how I would describe Bishop & Wilde. As one of the few local bookstores in the NW neighborhood, I think this place is incredibly charming and it was so welcoming – urging me to turn the books cover to read the synopsis.nnAs a big fantasy lover, I was a little disappointed but the selection here as it was basically only one column, but the options that were on offer were great and I think it showed a good understanding of interesting novels from the owner of this place (who picks out the books to display). Everything was reasonably priced for used books and I could without a doubt be returning here to pick up my next read. I highly recommend a visit and I hope to see the fantasy section expanded in the future!
