We visited Bird’s Bookstore this Saturday, and it was such a lovely experience. I went with my friend (a fellow book lover) and brought my nephew along. It ended up being magical for all of us.nnThey have a great children’s section as well as a Manga/graphic novel area, which my nephew was immediately drawn to. He picked out a book and spent the entire long weekend completely immersed in it, I imagine any adult delights to see a child quiet, captivated, and fully lost in their imagination. Watching him sit on the floor in the corner, flipping through books and carefully choosing his favorite, gave me such nostalgia. It reminded me of my own childhood library days.nnThe layout of the store is part of its charm. At first glance it looks small, but once you step inside, it opens up into a deeper, cozy, almost magical space. My nephew even said it felt like he was in Harry Potter and honestly, I could see why. It has that tucked-away, storybook feel.nnThe location is also great it’s in a shopping center with Sur La Table, Eatzi’s, a toy store, and other fun shops, making it easy to turn into a full outing.nnNeedless to say, my friend and I did not leave empty-handed. We each walked out with about five books (give or take). Pricing felt comparable to other bookstores, but the experience itself is what truly makes it special.

It was my first time in and I was super excited to finally visit. I saw a few people get welcomed in and given tours of the space, which would've been really nice, but maybe you have to request the tour in advance.nnIt's really beautiful inside and there are a wide variety of books, keepsake-like items, and calendars, but the pricing was a bit steep.nnI spent $15 on a muffin and matcha, which surprised me a bit, but I was excited to try it after seeing the coffee shop on Instagram.nnOverall, it's super pretty and picturesque inside. I'd recommend a casual visit for other book lovers. 📚✨️

We made the drive from Fort Worth to Bird’s Bookstore after seeing an Instagram add. The best part of the trip was the gluten free pastry selection from Unrefined Bakery which were delicious and affordable for snacking while shopping. The bookstore is gorgeous inside. There was a great selection of books and unique gifts. However I never ended up buying anything because I found it difficult to navigate to the book genre and couldn’t tell who worked there and who didn’t so I didn’t ask for help. There are gold labels on the shelves but you really have to search and I found it overwhelming. The book store is very unique and I loved the cool door.

Y'all, this place is gorgeous. I actually didn't know what I was walking into, so the pictures don't even do it justice.nnI only came here to get a birthday gift for a close friend, and truly didn’t think I’d be blown away. All I had in my head was book, gift card, cool. I walked in SHOOK. Not even prepared to take pics, I was like wait, I might like books now?nnOh also, I didn't know there was going to be an entire coffee shop inside & I left a happy gal. Latte in hand living life. The barista was extremely sweet. I browsed the area while sippin my latte.nnThe place is stunning. It gave Arch Digest vibes for sure. I also loved that they gave free post cards with your purchase. I actually used them to write a sweet message to my sweet girl for her birthday.nnAlso, if you're not the best at gift wrapping (I try okay), head next door to paper source, they wrapped the book so beautifully. We also chatted the entire time they wrapped. I had an entire hair appointment I was almost late to because…yap.nnVisit this space, you’ll enjoy it.nnHead to my Instagram for more > @mickeysentme

Gorgeously designed bookstore with such a lovely curated book selection. You can tell the owners are book lovers. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and offer personalized suggestions. It's warm and inviting and I feel welcome to peruse, sit, read as long as I like as a customer.nnRegarding my drink, I got an iced matcha latte which I would give 0/5 stars. It was gross. Basically like drinking a big cup of milk with the thought of matcha. I threw it away. I have high standards for matcha drinks, and I try to keep my expectations tempered, but this was egregiously bad lol. The ratio needs to be way less milk and more matcha. A $7 lesson for me, I guess. The coffee and pastries look good, probably better than the matcha.
