A must stop. A cute, vintage, wide-selection bookstore with a cat. Yes, please. Sign me up everything.nnStaff is knowledgeable, kind, helpful and willing to share cat photos! We bought a handful of books and plan on visiting their sister store tomorrow.

The Baseline: For a book shop of used books, the books must be well organized, the shelves need to be well stacked with variety of books, and the shop needs to have character.nnStore: This is a very nice book shop with a ton of character. You could walk around and glance at books for hours looking for the rare find you didn’t know you needed but always wanted. The shop has character and one awesomely friendly cat.nnService: The staff member or owner was helpful in answering questions.nnBooks: There were a lot of books on different topics that would have been great to explore if I had more time and wasn’t in vacation mode.

Incredible selection local history restaurants and food. Vast selection of history. I could have spent hours browsing. Staff lady was very helpful in locating areas of Interest within the enormous stacks. Has a somewhat physically challenged bibliophile it was also nice that they had places to sit at frequent intervals

My boyfriend and i are visiting from California and stumbled upon this charming little bookshop. The shop is filled with a curated selection of used books and it was easy to navigate. Each section is labeled with the genre/topic.nnThe owner was incredibly kind and helpful. When I mentioned my interest in Anne Rice, he immediately showed me a few special editions and lesser-known works of hers. His passion for books and for sharing that with others really made the experience memorable.nnAnd to top it all off, they have a sweet, friendly cat. I went back a second time the same day.nnI’ll definitely be back next time I’m in NOLA. Highly recommend this spot for any book lover!
