Becker’s Books

Truthfully THE best place to be if your goal is to be utterly engulfed by books. Books of every author, genre, and age call this little shop home. Please budget several hours for your visit – I promise that you’ll have a wonderful time getting lost in this floor-to-ceiling maze of books.

I learned of a book, long out-of-print, that would be an excellent resource for my graduate school thesis. The only copy of the book I could locate anywhere in the world was at Becker's Books. I contacted the shop by phone and got Charlie, the son of the store's founders. Charlie was incredibly helpful in tracking down the book I needed (communicating with me by phone and email), and ultimately mailing the book out to me personally.nnIt was such a fabulous experience working with Charlie and Becker's Books. I only wish I lived closer so I could patronize the store regularly and explore the vast inventory of books. Give this store your business and you won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love coming here, the selection is so wide. For me I love the old medical books it’s a rare to find some this old. I have spent hours on occasions just browsing.

The absolute best, most magical bookstore in the world. I no longer live in Texas and miss knowing that I could come here any time I please without much issue. Truly one of my favourite places, I treasure this bookstore very much, it is a credit to its proprietors that I will carry the happy memories I have made here wherever I go for the rest of my days.

This place is a never ending maze of books from floor to ceilings! As chaotic as it seems at first glance it it very organized.nnThey have different books with seats to read or hang out. A pretty big children's section as well.nnThey take cash and card including tap like apple and Google pay.
