Barnes & Noble College Bookstore

The people sitting behind the desk were super helpful. There are plenty of books to find here in this spot in the Loop. This Barnes and Noble College Bookstore is part of DePaul University. Their main campus is located on Fullerton street off the red, brown, and purple line. Last time I recalled- I think that area has actual textbooks available to the public.nnTalking about the loop location, this part of my review will be based in opinion- so take what I say with a grain of salt. While this bookstore is nice and has (some) textbooks, you are better off going to this area if you are looking for new releases of nonfiction, fiction, and self-help books. This area (I don't come here often) doesn't seem to have instructional workbooks that help you actually practice something repetitively (straightforward textbooks or books full of terms).nnI have my opinion about self help books. I love them (though sometimes I feel some of them have a tendency to put in feel good advice rather than actual solutions). Just because I say this- do not let my opinion deter anyone from coming to this spot.nnThis is a great bookstore regardless of what I say. I would watch out for the prices of books. The store is part of a university so naturally the books will be a bit overpriced.

A perfectly fine university bookstore. They have a wide selection of books, university merch, and there's even a coffee shop. Just remember that this isn't an independent Barnes and Noble location, so the selection may not be as wide as you'd hope.

Incredibly rude customer service desk associate. I believe her name is Lily. I witnessed her being incredibly aggressive towards several customers. She actually yelled at them at one point. You should have her removed from this location all together. She will definitely prevent me from shopping there ever again.

Wherever I travel in USA, I must visit Barnes & Noble – I had wonderful memories – a place where I spent plenty of time reading, studying and writing my dissertation, and enjoying the coffee and brunch from Starbucks in side the store. I would give the Depaul store 3 star compare to the store in Christiansburg, VA, where the best atmosphere I have ever been.

Barnes and Noble is a nice place to buy books. You can even read one there at their cafe. Customer service is very nice. It is connected to DePaul and you can purchase DePaul hoodies and merchandise. Nice place👍🏽.
