BN has lost my business.nnThe layout is incredibly cramped and confusing. It's basically a poorly laid out airport bookstore at 2x scale with a coffee shop.nnThere is no kids play space and they put gay books and rainbow pride stuff at kid level, which I'll charitably say is dubious at best.nnAnd they put that at the back of the store, too, so it looks nice and normal up front.nnThe staff were pleasant, but some of them were literally blue haired bearded ladies with gender badges.nnSo far from a family atmosphere or even one I'd allow myself to be in anymore.nnThey do still have their very nice BN hardcover classics. But I'll just buy any of those I care to online.nnSo sad to see this is where the company is headed.

I stopped in right before Christmas, and I was pleasantly surprised! The store is much larger inside than it looks from the outside, and the books were easy to find. Despite the holiday rush, they had plenty of staff and kept the long checkout line moving quickly. I look forward to returning! 😁

An academic weapon is what I was called in my glory days… now with the addition of Barnes & Noble to Papillion I am able to complete the piece of me that has been missing for so long. This location is a beacon to where anyone can come, crack open a book and live a different life, all from a little spec in the Midwest. This location has every literature you can think of, with plenty of space to find your own nook and get to turning some pages. Everything here is very clean and organized, with their cafe area being a nice getaway to enjoy a beverage and maybe even a little treat. All of the works here are priced fairly, as you can’t put a price on the life work of someone else. This isn’t just a Tuesday night stop, it a destination for all that should be cherished.

Lovely store. Relaxing to shop, a huge variety of books and accessories. The snack/coffee area is comfortable and clean. I like the employees, they are helpful and knowledgeable. They seem to be very happy to assist you.

Barnes & Noble is my wallet’s worst enemy! I walk in for one book and walk out looking like I’m carrying the Library of Congress. The staff is so nice it almost feels rude NOT to buy something. If you want a place where time disappears and money evaporates, then this is the place!
