Arts & Letters Bookstore

The loveliest bookstore and staff! A friend threw a birthday party here and I got a chance to talk to Roxanne while I was browsing. She gave me so many wonderful recommendations for my daughter and myself. They had so many genres and books for all ages. Definitely a destination for book lovers!

We loved visiting Arts and Letters during our time in Granbury! The shop is very cute, and even has a Harry Potter ‘cupboard under the stairs’ decoration. The shop has a pretty wide selection of books, with a great kids section. I love finding book shops when I travel, and this one is a gem!

Hours online and in Google maps say 10-8 on Friday and Saturday. We got there at 6:10 and the man had the door locked cashing out his last customer. When he opened the door, I asked the store hours and he said we open at 10 and closed the door. No hours posted on windows or door. Disappointed.

This store is SOOO cool!! A must see if anywhere close to downtown Granbury. The kids section in the back, with their little cubbies are a nice touch.

I decided to go for a walk with my son. He came into the bookstore because he wanted to get a book. Let me tell you, since the moment I opened the door to come in, I felt uncomfortable. I came in and wasn’t even acknowledged for the 7 minutes I was there by both of the young ladies working. No acknowledgment at all. It is a complete shame; what a disappointment. ! The owner of this place needs to do better.
