This bookstore is amazing! There’s a great, curated selection of feminist, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC books for all ages, and the shop is a warm, welcoming, and inclusive space. As a queer woman, I felt so welcomed there! In addition to the fantastic selection of books and the excellent vibes, there are community events, resources and information for anyone interested or in need, and dog treats for any four-legged friends who stop by. Easily accessible from the green line (about a 10 minute walk), this intersectional, feminist, inclusive, and queer-owned shop should absolutely be on everyone’s list of bookstores to support!
Me and my daughter went to the amazing bookstore today. This store and owner is a wonderful person, who made my daughter feel seen and safe. Plus the owner dog is super cute. This is a wonderful and safe space. Great quality books and kid friendly.
One of my favorite indie bookstores 💜 I love how there’s a variety of author visits, impromptu events to bring in the community, and a corgi who’s always personable. They’ve also got a fabulous selection of books that are easy to browse!
One of my favorite book stores near the Boston area! Their new location in Somerville is right off the Green line and a quick 4 min walk.nVery inclusive, cozy and welcoming environment.nThe owner Christina and their staff does a great job at giving recommendations to people of all ages. I've been a loyal customer since 2020, and I've never been disappointed with the book selections available. If I can't find what I'm looking for, I can always ask to place an order through the store!
A book store with a mission to curate and lift up diverse voices.nnRegardless whether or not you identify as queer and/or feminist, I highly recommend this book shop. The owner Christina was very friendly and made great recommendations. They also have book club events every month featuring feminist/queer authors and sometimes authors visit.nnSelection was highly curated and this month had a lot of independently published unique poetry books for poetry month. They even have a small corner of dog accessories in addition to a kids corner.nnDefinitely worth a stop!
