Lovely 2nd hand bookstore in San Marcos.n5 star rating in my opinion as they operate mostly on donations and offer you a 20% coupon if you bring in books to donate.nAdditionally, the selection is quite limited but all of the books i’ve purchased have been in very good condition. All the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, they will help you find a specific title if that’s what you’re looking for. As it is a used bookstore you shouldn’t expect multiples of popular titles so just go with an open mind.nAs someone seeking more physical media and trying to support amazon less this is a great alternative.nThe store is always relatively clean but there is a cat that is pretty nice just an FYI

Its nice and small. Tons of books, good prices and easy to read labeled scetions. Only reason im giving 4 stars and not 5 is due to a beautiful roaming cat that roams the store. My husband is allergic to cats and had a reaction. Cat is very calm and friendly but my husband had the most reaction in the kids book area

Super friendly staff (Fable the kitty included☺️)! The bookstore is stocked with books (at a great price too) and very organized! Will return again for more books. ☺️📚

With better prices than Half Price Books and a better selection than Books a Million, this new used bookstore is the best option (in my opinion) in San Marcos. I love a good bookstore and this place exceeded my expectations greatly. Huge classics, thrillers, mysteries, romance, science, self help and more sections. You will love it!

Sun shining through the windows, the smell of fresh wood eminates from the new bookcases, and Fabel the shop cat napping in the baskets. What a wonderful bookstore. Books on Cooking, philosophy, spirituality, Texas history, classics, childrens books, fantasy and more! We left with four books in total but the longer you spend on the store, the more books you'll leave with. Definitely will stop by again.
