Accepted… at Last

Accepted… at Last is a story about rejection! That is the theme of this autobiography, from being rejected before birth and given up for adoption to being rejected for who he is in every area of life. This is the story of how God made a difference in one person’s life, and can make a difference in the life of anyone who has faced rejection; anyone who feels like they should not be here; anyone who feels alone in the universe; anyone who feels they are not acceptable. It is told with humour and pathos; there are times when you will laugh and times when you will cry, but this is a true story of how, in the face of rejection even by the Church, God can bring acceptance and love.It is a story of hope, told honestly, pulling no punches and making no apologies. It isn’t a typical testimony with everything working out right after conversion. It is a recognition that God is with us even when the whole world has left.There are no solutions offered and there is no simplistic philosophy. This is how it happened and how it continues to happen. There is no conclusion reached, but there is the understanding of being ‘Accepted at last’ by God and how that makes all the difference.
