THE WISDOM OF WALTER: Walter Mansfield is a slouch of a man working in sales who has a confidence problem; his team doesn’t respect him. One day, the manager has a proposition for him-a new job opportunity in another division. The only drawback is that he would be gone for two weeks and he could miss the office Christmas party. But then, he is torn: does he leave his team behind and miss the office Christmas party or continue to be the office clown? In the end, Walter learns about the discouraging heartbreak of betrayal, but he also starts to see his team in a new light on Christmas Day. THE INVESTMENT OF ALAN JOHNS: Alan has car troubles and has to walk one day to his new place of employment, IAJ bank, right after Christmas vacation. Along the way, he encounters a man who gets under his skin and makes him look bad in front of his boss. But Alan starts to see him in a different light when he discovers that this down and out drifter named Peter does a good thing for him. They begin to open up with each other-Alan talks about how one event on New Year’s Eve changed his life and Alan does something for Peter that ultimately changes both of their lives.
