Don wants to go to the police but something is holding him back. Pete Monson is a homicide detective for the Raile Police Department. His job is a bore until Laura Thayer, a seventeen-year old girl, is found murdered in her home. With the long hours Pete is putting in at work, his already unstable marriage hangs in the balance. Suspects turn up at Raile High School, all of them students, one of them friends with Pete’s own rebellious, teenage daughter. Will Pete be able to save his marriage before his wife has had enough? And will Don Graham find out who’s writing these yellow notes before it’s too late? In her early years, April was raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota and as a teenager moved with her parents and younger sister in to a small log cabin in the great woods of the north eastern part of Minnesota. Since the age of thirteen, April has been writing poems, shorts stories and working on novels. The Yellow Note is her first published work as an author. Currently, April works as a manger for a canoe outfitters and makes her home in Ely, Minnesota with her husband Jason. In her spare time, April also enjoys writing original music, leading worship at her church and is a fashion designer for women’s one-of-a-kind handbags, purses, jewelry and clothing. She also spends time oil painting and drawing.
