Originally published in 1935, this brilliant little book contains a host of geniune Romany Remedies collated by Gipsy Petulengro, Grandson of the old gypsy tinker, Petulengro, immortalised by George Borrow in”The Romany Rye” and “Lavengro.” All the remedies should be taken with a pinch of salt (or in some cases, not at all!) but the majority of them still make good sense today and the book is a fascinating read.
