I come here with friends since they like looking at books. It’s fun. They have a good variety of genres of books. I ended up getting a CD here and I looked online to see if another store has a cheaper option and saw that Barnes & Noble had it cheaper online (only by like $2). I asked the cashier if she could match it and she said only if it’s from the Barnes & Noble website and I showed her. She agreed and matched the price. The thing that threw me off was that some of the CDs had 20% off and others that were the SAME EXACT CD didn’t have the 20% off. It was really weird which is what made me want to ask about it. I ended up getting the CD but yeah double check prices online because she said that they can match them to Barnes & Noble prices on their website!!
It had been awhile since I'd been in a bookstore. I was pleasantly surprised to see how many magazines are still being published. You'll find ones tailored to many niche interests. Check the freestanding displays and end caps for sales. You can find some good deals. The cafe sells Starbucks products; however, you cannot use that app or points there. The store and restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly.
Who doesn't like Barnes and Noble for your book and coffee needs? This location has always done a good job about having the product we want in stock and if not they'll have it delivered to there location for pick up. Also the Baristas in the Starbucks are always very nice and respectful with the coffee being delicious as always! 10/10!
I Had a cashier refuse to sell me a box of trading cards. I’m aware of the current policies on limiting products to 1 unique item per person per day. But, I was still denied to buy two different trading card boxes. The items had different names and different SKUs yet I was denied. I previously never had an issue buying one of each style or different SKU items so I was surprised to be told this on this specific day. I’m disappointed to be treated this way and talked to like I didn’t know the rules/current policies. Please re-train your workers on current policies/rules or revise them to what they actually are to avoid any future incidents like this.
Dishonest pricing. Do yourself a favor check online prices before shopping in stores and be prepared to argue. Cheaper online then it is in their stores. Sent my husband to pick up Brandon Sanderson's new book, listed as $10 off online and he only got it for $7 off in stores. $3 dollars may not seem like a big deal but it's off their own website. It's not like I'm asking to price match just don't cheat your customers. This has happened more then once since I don't live near a store it's hard to justify going back for a couple dollars but I won't be shopping at B&N again. I had a gift card or I wouldn't have even gone this time. Shouldn't be surprised they pulled the same crap. Rename this place B&S
