I had a great experience at Black Letter Books! They have a great variety of genres, new and old books, great service and prices. Cecila helped me find several good options for me to read in just a few minutes based on my interests and preferences. Highly recommend!

I visited this quaint little bookshop yesterday while in Stillwater and I think it may be the best used bookstore I have ever been to (and I have been to many!). There was such an awesome collection books and I found some great ones; including a copy of The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle that I have been searching for, for many years, and an early edition of Betsy and Tacy Go Over The Big Hill. I was over the moon. There were several other books I wanted to purchase but I had to force myself to stop. I was so impressed and I could tell that the other shoppers were as well. I can’t wait to go back to Stillwater and visit this wonderful bookstore!

i just want to start this out by saying that i tell people to come here every time i recommend checking out downtown stillwater to others. this is by far the coolest bookstore i have ever seen. there’s a bit of everything from international media, to art books, to books that are literally artifacts. the owner is quite knowledgeable as well and is so warm and welcoming

Very cute and very well organized bookstore. Lots of gems and keepsake style books to enjoy. Nice kids and literature sections. Will definitely be back for more.

I love this place. The staff is so interesting and knowledgeable. The nice woman who was working when I visited, Darcy was able to answer my questions and didn't bother me when I was busy browsing but was immediately responsive when I engaged her attention.
