I love this location! The staff is friendly and helpful, there’s a convenient parking lot, and they’re dog and kid friendly. My favorite place to browse is the large fiction section downstairs and they’ve always got something interesting in the sci-fi/fantasy shelves. I look forward to many more visits!

I only buy on line because selling HPB locally barely covers gas cost to drive. I only buy Half Price Books if no one else on Abes also offers because unlike most seller on Abe, HPB are usually delivered damaged. The reason is HPB just puts à book in an unprotected mailer bag. Today I received one sold by TX but with a return lable St. Paul. It's sad because HPB books offered in local stores are much better condition than the Two local much larger used book stores. The book I just received if the bag wasn't torn and one corner badly bent would have been like new or mint. Order# 719183456.

I can’t say enough good about Half Price Books. I have been shopping here for decades and occasionally sell my used books and music here. They also offer to recycle things for me that no longer have value otherwise. The employees are always nice and helpful.

Ok I have mixed review for this place. If you're going in there to just buy a book they've got a great selection and also some new stuff. If you're going in there to sell back your books not so much. I took 2 boxes full of only good to excellent quality books and I only got $7. I just recently took in one book of cds another box of dvds, some not even opened yet and another box of good to excellent books. At least I got $25. I get it. They are selling your books for you but dang it felt like getting ribbed off. I still gave them a four rating but because of those I could not give them a 5.

I would recommend donating books to organizations such as Goodwill or a local public library rather than selling them here. As a for-profit company, the compensation offered for used books is often minimal—typically just cents on the dollar. Donating elsewhere can be a more satisfying option and supports community-focused organizations.
