This is a great spot to find used and some new books, or comics.nnThe main entrance is wheelchair accessible, there may be an elevator inside.nnThere are isles and isles of books, and locked cases too. It's much like that described in a book.nnThere is a free comic book corner after you buy a book too.nnI think in all there are three floors.nnIf you're going to go plan to take the whole day!nnIt is well lit inside.

Great selection of old books and signed copies. Upstairs they have regular fiction, and you can find books that might be popular now, otherwise most of the selection are older. The basement has discounted comics, magazines, some artwork, and some books/movies. I’ve been going here for over 10 years and always leave with something. Just don’t go with a TBR list, go with an open mind.

Great used bookstore with a really nice comic selection. I am new to the area, this will be a regular stop for me when I am in the area. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Looking forward to exploring more next time I visit.

I’ve shopped here several times and am a resident of the neighborhood. The store is cluttered and hard to move through. Many of the books are older and out of date reference works. I also don’t think that they have a good feel for the community. They have songs in their window claiming that they are a safe haven of intellectualism in a desert of city blight. Fine. Whatever in its own. But that combined with their shotty attitude toward many of our neighbors and desire to push out our homeless without resources into solving underlying problems is pretty distasteful.

Friday, December 19th at 1:00 PM,nnYou wouldn’t believe the horrible customer service that I just got on the phone from midway books in Saint Paul. I called and asked if they had a certain Time magazine issue and I was very clear on the date. The jerk on the other line said “no. I’m not going down to the basement and check, come here yourself!” Most likely it was the hippy guy on the other end of the line. Horrible service. I am very disappointed!
