Mystery Lovers Bookshop

My fiancé and I were trying to find a cozy bookstore for our engagement pictures and let me tell you how amazing Mystery Lovers was! I called in a frantic rush the day after Christmas due to some conflict with our original place and the owner of Mystery Lovers Bookstore was so lovely to speak with and she allowed us to come in and take pictures and it was such a vibe in there! I came back the next day and bought two books I had found while we were taking our photos! They are truly lovely to work with and they have an amazing selection of books! If you’re in the area you should definitely check them out!

This was such a cute little bookstore. They ended up ordering me two books and they came so quickly and she actually shipped them to me cause I wasn’t gonna be in the area anytime soon I truly appreciated that and love supporting Indie stores

Really cool and welcoming independent book shop! Definitely a must go if you're in Oakmont. Lots of cool selection, reasonably priced.

Very friendly and helpful staff! I ordered what I wanted ahead of time, and they were very responsive and had everything ready when I arrived. But I also enjoyed browsing the books there–the store has both classics and contemporary bestsellers, among a variety of series spanning an interesting breadth, and they have cute little accessories to add to the ambience. This is an awesome place to hang out with fellow mystery lovers! I definitely look forward to inviting more friends to come to this bookshop!

Great atmosphere, hung out for a long time (like an hour) talking with a friend while we decided on books. No pressure from the great staff and they genuinely seemed happy to talk about books they had read that my friend was interested in. We both got fantasy books.nGreat vibes all around!
