Cellar Door Bookstore

I was passing by the area and I was glad to find this book store. Staff is very friendly and willing to help if you’re looking for something specific. They are also willing to order something for you if they don’t have it in their store.nnI’m very happy with the diverse selection they have. Not only do they have a few popular books, but they also have books that I’ve never heard of before. They are also very culturally diverse too!nnYou can sign up for their rewards program with your name at the register, which is if you buy 10 books you get some money off a book after that.nnVery cozy ambience and grateful they had a bathroom since I was commuting from OC. I was a little sad that I missed their furry mascot, who was on vacation. I will definitely come back if I’m passing by.

I cannot recommend this little shop enough. The book selection is carefully curated to showcase authors who may not get the recognition they deserve in corporate shops. I went to an author meet and greet here that was facilitated beautifully and well attended. The book club selection is extensive – there is truly something for everyone. This place is a treasure.

What a delightful little shop! The staff are all friendly and helpful. The recommendations are excellent, and the book club choices are really intriguing! I can't wait to go back! And I'm really excited to meet the people that lead the book clubs!

I jokingly refer to this establishment as the CBS – Communist Book Store – as many if not most of their offerings tilt decidedly to the left. The staff are friendly and helpful and if you're looking for a gift for the hard to please progressive or lean that way yourself then Cellar Door is definitely the place for you.

i love this bookstore. you can find just about anything you might want on current politics, science fiction, fantasy and children’s literature. terrific book clubs too!
