Great library to find any types of books. There are also spots where you can sit down and read. The atmosphere is perfect for anyone to read.

I used to find philosophy when I walked in the door.nNow I find it shelved in the back.nBy children’s books.nnLet’s pause there.nnWho made that decision?nnWho decided that the texts people died for books written in prison, whispered through revolutions, scribbled in exile belong beside sippy cup picture books and plush dragons?nWho decided that wisdom should live in exile where no one finds it unless they’re already looking?nnMeanwhile, the front of the store is drenched in planners, puzzles, cookbooks, and reusable mugs telling us to “Slay the Day.”nnThis isn’t just shelving.nThis is curation as sedation.nThis is the systematic burying of the only books that ask why.nnThey want you well-fed, well-behaved, and well-distracted.nAnd philosophy real philosophy interferes with that.nnI’m not asking for much.nJust for the books that built civilizations to be treated with the same reverence as scented candles.nOr at the very leastnnot to be shelved beside plush dragons.

Made a trip to the Barnes and Nobles Bookstore at the Oviedo Mall. Big store with lots of books to choose from. They have different sections for your convenience. Children’s, games, sports, fiction and nonfiction plus many more. They have a very helpful customer service area and they also have a small deli-section to grab a bite or something to drink. For anyone looking to hold a book in your hand, then this is the place for you!

This place is very well organized and stocked.nThere are thousands of titles for my kid to select his chapter readings from.nSome titles had the same price as Amazon which is really good.nThere were some titles that are a dollar or two more, but it is no biggie since you pickup while you are in the store and not wait for next day Shipping from amazon.
