Heartbound Book Shop

I'm obsessed!!! It's so nice to have a romance bookstore in the OC. This store is adorable with an amazing selection of romance books and a warm/welcomign staff. They also do some super fun events and have a focus on uplifting BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and disabled authros which is far too rare! Their local author section is amazing and they always have signed books and special editions!!

I was visiting from New Jersey, and I was so happy to have stumbled upon this hidden gem of a locally owned bookshop.nnTheir focus and specialty is romance, and there was a great variety of subgenres. They also had stickers, bookmarks, bags and more. Most of their merchandise for sale is made personally by their owner right there in the shop! I spoke with the owner and her mother, they’re such friendly and lovely people. I highly recommend visiting this bookshop if you’re a book lover or just in the area and like to see cute things!

This shop is warm, welcoming and beautiful. The romance book swap is a great idea. It's a great way to grow the community! I'm not local but it is definitely worth the drive.

A must visit for any book lover! The store is set up to make for a smooth & delightful shopping experience – loved the little street signs to indicate the different genres!! They have the best selection of indie books & books by BIPOC authors, which I really appreciated.nnThe space is warm and inviting with beautiful decor and the kindest family as its owners! Easily my favorite OC bookstore!! I’m so happy to have a local indie bookstore. They specialize in romance books and they have a variety of subgenres, such as sports romance, romantasy, etc.nnI also love that they have a bunch of bookish accessories such as stickers, kindle charms and book/kindle sleeves. I was mainly here for that and they did not disappoint.nnThe staff here are very welcoming, friendly, and willing to help with any questions you have.
