Great game venue. Tables in the back are free to use for scheduled gaming. Staff is friendly. 4 stars only because they stopped carrying miniatures for the dnd players
ONLINE SHOPPING IS KILLING MEnas someone who doesn’t have a pull list with them and would rather just go to the store and pick up the series i want, it’s so difficult to do that here. i feel like they only order a specific amount of comics only for online shoppers and that makes a person like who would rather go and pick up the series very disappointing. i’ve been going every NCBD recently and the new releases wall is always half empty. it’s sad that online shopping is being treated as the first priority but common now i have to drive 30 mins just to get there for it to just be frustrating and disappointing. it’s a comic store you guys should always have new releases on the shelves and in stock for people who don’t have a pull list. i always ended driving to another comic book store but here in the DFW they are all 20-30 mins away from each other which makes it more frustrating. and guess what? all the other stores shelves are loaded with new releases. the workers here are nice and they have an amazing trade section but moving forward i’m only coming here to get trades. please prioritize your customers needs with in door shopping.
We stopped in here to browse and waste some time. The place was nice, clean and organized. We were greeted at the door, but never asked if we could be helped. We wandered around looking at everything for about 15 minutes. They have a good selection of comics and other collectibles. I can't speak to the price of the comics as I haven't been involved with that is many years. But, the funko prices seemed to be fair and they had a good selection.
They have a decent selection of comics, funko pops, board games, and other collectibles. I’ve been there a couple of times, the only reason for 3 stars is because compared to other similar stores like Madness, they rarely, if ever have any sales or offer discounts. Madness offers some big sales throughout the year, and some of their competitors are more willing to negotiate when you buy in bulk.
