DECOPOLIS FableRealm Bookstore

We traveled from Arizona in our 37 Chevy to go to the Darryl Starbirds Rod and custom car show and stayed at the Desert Hills Inn Motel so it was just a few min trip up Route 66 to try the ice cream. Was a nice atmosphere quirky shop things to buy and look at. Ice cream portions could be bigger.

What an amazingly, fantastic, world of wonders TulsaRama and FableRealm Books offers. You walk in the door and are transferred back to the 50s. The ice cream shop reminds me of “Back to the Future”. You have a wide selection of tasty ice cream combos and a cute little gift shop in the back. The booths all have their own theme. It was so fun to just meander around the ice cream shop and discover all the little quirks and art works. Then you walk into Fablerealms through a hallway designed to look like a cave. On the way, you pass a Christmas wonderland-like room dedicated to custom ornaments. Once through the cave, you pass by a a beautiful water fountain surrounded by stones such as amethyst, moonstone, rose quartz, labradorite ect, and locally made soaps. Then you move into the bookstore. My favorite part! They have a great book selection. I found a few gems to read such as A Court of Thorns and Roses and Fourth Wing.nThey also have a fun section dedicated to kids with little princess and knight costumes. They have crowns, dragons, and a fun assortment of kids toys and books. Then you walk into the art gallery which is all art created by the owner the store.nThis store really embodies support for the local community including artist, Tulsa history, and makers. I had a blast. I’ll definitely be back!

Great place for GIFT books and trinkets. Fun spot to take little ones with big imaginations! 👸🏻🐲🤺🛡️nnExcited to come back for ice cream when the weather is warmer — looking forward to dye free options as well!

So much care was put into the design of this place! Every room transports you to a different time period, and so many things to look at for all ages! Plus the ice cream is delicious! We are very excited to see how this business continues to grow!

What an absolutely wonderful place! They have delicious sweet treats (ice cream, hot chocolate, cakes and candy), wonderful Route 66 items (and history) and an amazing selection of fantasy books/gifts to choose from! This is definitely a must for anyone traveling The Mother Road, gift shopping or just in need of a sweet treat!
