Dream Haven Books & Comics

This place was a blast! I went in expecting a fairly standard comic shop with some genre fiction books and maybe some collectibles. Not only was I WRONG, I clearly didn't budget enough time because I spent my whole evening in the shop instead of my other plans. They had the greatest collection of pulp, zines, horror, cinema history, autographed books, rare ephemera, and paperbacks I've seen in a place of its size. The staff were friendly and helpful. I needed a specific artist for an upcoming convention and they were able to find me an entire box of their work immediately.

Jammed full of products related to books, comics, and graphic novels. They didn't sell new comics however.nnAlso be aware that like most confused places in that area, they support wildly liberal social and political causes and are foolish enough to advertise that – thus costing them some business that they clearly need. I probably wouldn't return due to that. Can't support places that are radicalized like this.

I love this store. While a bit cramped, the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They’re deeply involved in the SFF community. And bonus, they’ve always made me feel so welcome when I bring my son in. He’s four and admittedly loud. But they make him feel special and like he gets to be there. Absolutely a fan.

What a freaking cool place!!! You could spend a lifetime poring over everything here and still not see it all. If you love horror, fantasy, sci-fi, movie memorabilia, books, or just cool places and good vibes in general do not hesitate to come in. These folks are passionate about what they do and it’s evident from the love they pour into it, the stock they carry, and the huge smiles on their faces when they share awesome stories about their amazing experiences with customers. This place is truly a gem.

I haven't been there for a while but they used to have the best selection of comic books and science fiction literature. Looking forward to visiting soon.
