Black Swan

After having lunch at Fentons Creamery, my sister and I stopped in at this bookstore to browse. It is a used bookstore with vintage books, antiques, collectible items, record albums. This bookstore reminds me of two used bookstores that have closed several years ago – Holmes Bookstore in Oakland and Wilmot's Books in Alameda. Wonderful place to visit, browse and shop.

Nice place, very pleasant staff who will cater to your personal taste in books and recommend and even seek out titles for you! Very eclectic collection of art as well.

One of the best book stores I've been to! If you enjoy finding delightful & strange books, shop here! The employees/owners are very helpful & fair with pricing. They also have a wide selection of books to choose from, which surprised me, since it's a small shop.

I've been shopping at this bookshop for many years. They always have unique books, sculptures, printed artworks and other collectibles that I may give as gifts. They are very knowledgeable about many genres of books. I enjoy visiting and talking about books with the friendly staff.

Visited this bookstore there was no one else in the store. We made eye contact and said a friendly hello and no response. This was after we came in the door and two people working there looked our way and looked away. Not welcoming at all. I hate to mention this but was left to wonder if this is how they treat BIPOC at this establishment.
