My name is Donna Ray. I was born in 1950, grew up in Detroit Michigan, and attended Detroit Public Schools. I fell in love with books after my first trip to the school library, and after that, I read everything that I could get my hands on; even my Dads hunting and fishing magazines. My Dad told me that if I could read, I could learn about anything, and go anywhere, in a book, and I love to learn new things. By the time I was in Middle School, I knew that I wanted to be a writer. After High School, I married and raised three children, who love to read. I now have grandchildren, and my youngest grandchild, who is 11 years old, and also loves to read, has decided to become an author and has written several short stories of her own! I have learned that sometimes life can get in the way of our dreams, but to never stop dreaming. Through prayer and trust in GOD, we can accomplish anything. We can even move mountains! (Mark 11:23 King James Bible).
