The Beatitudes are teachings from Jesus that show us how to live a life full of love, kindness, and peace. Found in the Gospel of Matthew, the Beatitudes are like a guide for finding true happiness and being close to God. Each Beatitude starts with “Blessed are,” which means “happy are those who…” Jesus gave us these teachings to show that happiness comes not from things we own but from how we treat others and live in God’s love.
