Un hecho desafortunado lo separa de su madre, Sihuehuet. La cual se ve de cara ante una lucha por su libertad, ante unas leyes para su época exageradamente duras. Más aun, el Cipitio ajeno a su realidad, vive sus mejores años en la dulce inocencia, bajo el cuidado de unos duendes llamados Neguacos, alejado de toda crueldad humana. Como todo pequeño, en muchas de sus travesuras, la mayor parte del tiempo es acompañado por un Ocelote, al que ve como una mascota. Más sin embargo, este pequeño felino, en realidad es más que eso.
