Book Horizons

Extremely efficient workers and painless checkout @ this bookstore. Unfortunately law books cost a fortune but that has little to do with this place. They do their job and they do it very well. I give four stars and not five because I purchased a book last semester that fell apart on me (as in the book came off the binding). I have a suspicion that it may have been the manufacturers fault because it was an “international edition” but the store could have done a little more to check they’re receiving only the best products. However, I plan to continue going here for the remainder of my years at the U because it is the only place I can get my stuff quicker than Amazon.

The staff at Book Horizons is truly wonderful! I went in last week to look for some school merchandise and, while I was there, they helped me gather my books for the semester so that I could get everything done all at once. I cannot emphasize enough the immense kindness and compassion these people exhibit, especially when dealing with the stress of the “back to school” rush. Thank you to everyone at Book Horizons – I look forward to using your services again in future semesters!

Amazing customer service in this time of Covid-19. You call them, tell them what books you need, pay over the phone with a credit card, and then arrange a time to pick up your order. They bring it out to your car. They carry books for both UM undergraduates and law students. There is a reason they've been in business since 1953!

This place actually cares for the students! I am happy to do business here and trust them with all of my law school needs. They know your schedule better than you do and all you have to do is show up. Every university should have a bookstore like this.

Easiest and best bookstore to use. As a UM law student, it's as easy as telling them my schedule and they already know what book I need. Very helpful and nice staff.
