What a cute bookstore! You can find just about anything here to read but also little gifts for book lovers! The staff is really nice and helpful and the whole store just has a warm vibe to it. It’s very LQBTQ+ welcoming and has a diverse array of books for any walk of life.

Great Bookstore, toy store and coffee shop… a fixture in Colorado Springs for decades… just a wonderful place to browse and find your favorite books — do all ages!

Staff was amazing! So polite and friendly. The bookstore was easy to navigate and I could always find a staff member to help me if need be. New and used books! Books are books. Go read! Lots of toys and gifts to shop for! The children's toy store side of it has a great selection. The Cafe is wonderful! I recommend the strawberry kiwi tea. Great selection of teas and coffee.

Poor Richard's Bookstore is a large and lovely bookstore in downtown Colorado Springs. It attaches to a pastry cafe, a toy store (so many toys and games!), and a restaurant–you can walk all the way through. Settled in to a comfortable soft chair, I just hung out and relaxed before leaving. Great selection, helpful staff, fair prices.

Tell me why I walk in and I am greeted with…disdain? Judgment? Hard to read upon entering but no warmth in tone. Or smile. But whatever, that’s fine. I am allowed to take up space and look and be as I am. I have a SMALL white backpack on and a solid integrity. I do not. Will not. Steal. ESPECIALLY from a small business. What am I? A monster? I don’t understand the need to needlessly dust near me and follow me around. It’s rude. It felt unwelcome from the moment I came in. This was my first time here. I’ve gotten as far the checkout counter and I’ll be leaving. Won’t be pack. You guys are terrible.
