44th & 3rd Bookseller

Ordered the book “King” by Jonathan Eig from 44th and 3rd Bookseller. The place is small but packed with good reads. What you can’t find in store, you can order online for pick up like I did. The store is conveniently located in my neighborhood, the West End, in ATL. It’s also close to the AUC, serving as a resource for students, as well as community members. I am pleased with my purchase and with the overall vibe of the store. I Will definitely go back to purchase another book.

I recently stopped in to 44th & 3rd Bookseller with a friend and we were both very, very pleased. Not only was the staff amazingly helpful and friendly, but the shelves held treasures in just about every section so be prepared to bust your book budget! There were a couple of specific books we were looking for that weren't at the physical location, so the staff immediately placed orders that will be delivered to our doors! Do yourself a favor and stop by to treat yourself to a wonderful experience!

44th and 3rd Bookstore is a true gem and one of my favorite places to visit. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted warmly and genuinely—it’s the kind of welcome that makes you feel at home. On my first visit, I was offered a tour of the store and its purposeful layout. During that 1:1 tour with Tyler (forgive me if I got the name wrong), the customer service was exceptional. He asked if I was looking for anything specific, and while I found what I came for, his and the owner’s engaging conversation led me to leave with even more.nnParking securely in front of the store was also a breeze. I called ahead, and the owner kindly guided me on where to park—such a thoughtful touch!nnWhat I love most is how this space welcomes me, my whole self, my entire person as a Black woman. This isn’t just a Black-owned bookstore—it’s a third space of warmth, creativity, and community.nn44th and 3rd is where I choose to buy my books. If they don’t have something in stock, they’ll gladly order it for you or walk you through how to order on their website. You can have your books shipped, but I opt for in-store pickup because it gives me another reason to visit.nnI highly recommend 44th and 3rd to anyone looking for more than just a bookstore—this is a space that feeds the soul and celebrates community.

What a lovely gem of a place! The owner and his wife were super helpful with my purchases and my parking validation. I attended an amazingly book signing! I’m looking forward to returning with my kiddos to purchase some books for their home library! Thank you for creating a bookstore that’s cozy and well stocked!!!
