Have you ever been tired of being sick and tired? Well, let me answer that for you, I have. I was so tired, I wanted to commit suicide. I was tired of being broken, tired of being abused and tired of everyone giving me a voice. I was simply tired of not being the best version of myself because of the things that I had been through. My past wasn’t supposed to cripple me, it wasn’t supposed to muzzle me, but for a long time it did. “How can someone like you have a purpose they said, how can someone like you preach the Word of God, how can someone like you write a book,” they said. I was so tired of what “they” had to say. So, I started living on purpose and unapologetically being who God called me to be. This book is going to teach you how to cut out the noise and follow the voice of God. The things that you’ve been through are supposed to propel you into your destiny. Your past abuse, rape and everything that you went through wasn’t God punishing you, instead He was giving you a voice. He knew you could handle it. He knew a book would come out of it for you to teach other people how to get out of it, He knew you would turn your pain into purpose. Everything you went through was ordained by God, for He knew you since you were in your mother’s womb. I dare you to be bold and share your story with the world. This book is simply about a girl that decided to listen to the voice of God. I was abused, mistreated but God saw fit to use me for His glory. I will stop saying “why me” but instead say, “why not me.” I thank God that it was me, because of it, I found my purpose. Because of the pain, I found my why. It didn’t seem like it when I was getting slapped and kicked but now, I thank God it was me. I’m strong enough to overcome, strong enough to deal with all I’ve been through, I know you might want to give up but I need you to push a little harder, trust God a little bit more and surrender it all to Him. This is your time to soar into your destiny and don’t allow any naysayers, haters stop you from doing what you were born to do. Soar with no apologies, it’s your time!
