Thirst is my favorite Milwaukee Romance Bookstore! Since visiting the first time this Fall, I've been back multiple times and brought new friends every time. The owner is so friendly, has great recommendations, and is so clearly passionate about what she does. The shop is super cute, well organized, and has an awesome selection. This is officially my go to romance bookstore. 12/10 would recommend for an inclusive, friendly, fun, and knowledgeable experience.

And they little book clubs for different genres and have interactive club get togethers that staff puts together to discuss the books AND have fun and take home little goodies.nWhat really sets ThirstBooks apart is the personality behind the selection—every table feels intentional, every recommendation spot‑on. Whether you’re hunting for a new release, a hidden spicy title, or something you didn’t even know you needed, you’ll find it here. Milwaukee has plenty of great spots, but ThirstBooks is THE spot. It’s warm, welcoming, and absolutely worth a visit. I could genuinely spend all of my money here.

The cutest book store I’ve ever been to and the owner is so nice! I could spend hours here, the selection of books is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced, there are so many books you don’t typically ever see sold in stores and a huge variety.

Cutest bookstore with the best vibes! I spent a cozy afternoon browsing here with friends and it was the best activity for a rainy Sunday! The owner is fabulous, so friendly and welcoming— she is also ready to share some amazing recommendations! I found some gems that I am very excited to read. I will definitely be back soon!
