Really love the items they sell but man..I really wish the owner would’ve acknowledged my existence when I spent money at their shop. They were talking to their friend which is fine, but when you have a customer who is wanting to pay for their item, you should probably at least give them eye contact?Lmao absolutely insane. I waited like 5 minutes just standing at the register patiently when the owner is RIGHT in front of me just talking to their buddy. No one else in the store btw. No words were exchanged by the owner at all, didn’t even look at me. Of course I say thank you because I just have to be a nice person. 🙄 I am mad that I spent money at this place and mad that they have super cute items but such a RUDE owner. Come on, you’re extremely lucky to run an awesome shop. Treat your customers better!nnEdit: Other negative reviews say the same. So at least I’m not the only one being disrespected!

Ultra Pop is a true Louisville icon. Shop owner is so nice and knowledgeable. I was so excited to pick up a collectors item i had been looking for at a reasonable price.

Ultra Pop was my favorite shop I visited in Louisville, KY! Paul is a super cool guy, and we have a love in common for comic book writers and artists we both grew up with, so we nerded out about that for a while. I saw he had a copy of a Dracula graphic novel I'd been looking for, so I had to snatch that up! I also got a T-shirt (with the SubPop parody logo), so he threw in some kick-ass stickers! I will definitely visit again next time we're in town!

I am a long time fan of both the store and its fantastic owner, Paul. Always a great experience filled with magical collectibles, books and art. He features local artists and never fails to provide a soundtrack to complete the ultimate shopping experience.
