The food here is mediocre at best, really not worth the hype or the money. It is a cute place (since it’s attached to the bookstore) and right on Newbury so convenient if you’re in the area, but none of the 4 breakfast foods we got were great at all (wouldn’t go back or order again). The menu was extensive so maybe the other food is better. Would not recommend: smoked salmon scramble, taco pancakes, trucker special, or the potato egg dish.

The waitresses were so nice and very hard working. The place is a bookstore, but the food is great there too. You can seat yourself and order from the table. Coffee is simple, I don’t really care for the scramble egg, it’s very different from expected. The bacon and sausages are greattttt. The bookstore is lovely and a great place to explore

New favorite place in the city for breakfast!!! Reasonably priced food that’s yummy – love! Location on Newbury Street – love! Fun, quirky bookstore to roam through after – love! Seriously, so much to love about this place!!!nnI’ve been here twice now, and the service has always been amazing!!! So friendly, assertive, and timely. The food has also been good and yummy. This last time, my family and I sat outside, so my 20 month old could watch the trucks go by. The staff were so accommodating and helped bring a high chair outside. Little acts of service and hospitality like this really elevate an experience and make it memorable. We had the best time (except for the bees) and will definitely be back.

I’ve lived in boston for years but this was my first time getting their pumpkin pancakes (I usually get their savory crepe). Literally the best pancakes I’ve ever had, I may come back next week.nnLovely bookstore and great variety of greeting/birthday cards and puzzles/tchotchkes to get as treats for yourself or loved ones.

Embarrassingly bad. Yay for indie bookstores — but the food needs a serious revamp.nThis was a $15+ sandwich and two pancakes for $15+ . I understand the diner-like atmosphere adds to the charm, but this is just pathetic and a serious ripoff.
