This place is so cool!! They have a ton of comics and figurines all in great condition. There is a new owner in the process of getting all the inventory streamlined. I think this is our new favorite store. Definitely check it out.
I've been a DC Comics fan all my life and I've been collecting comics for a while now. I love not just the stories of the comics but the artwork as well and when theres a comic I'm unable to pickup on release day, I search long and hard to find it. I went to my local comicbook shops and my city's FanExpo/Con this past year and asked around and every comicbook shop and booth unfortunately didn't have the variant comic I was looking for. So after searching high and low traveling through the mountains and plains in my hometown. I ended up in the Mojave desert about 15 minutes from las vegas strip at Velvet Underground. A hidden gem for comicbook lovers. And the hiding spot of the Batman Absolute Mr Freeze variant cover I've been searching for. Who would've thought Mr Freeze would be hiding in the 105 degree las vegas weather. Not me! Ha I'm super excited I found this comicbook shop. The Staff there were awesome and informative, they have an amazing comic book selection. It was the highlight of my trip to vegas. I will definitely be visiting there again in the future.
