One young sengheir of the Majiks particularly attuned to the growing, ominous silence resulting from a systematic planetary genocide within her universe, Lylith Antinon, seeks answers. The second book in the character-driven, genre bending, fantasy series Translations from Jorthus dives back into the lives of The Dawnstone thieves as the new year brings new threats and opportunities. Rebuilding her life after her adventures on the Isle of Daie, Lylith is haunted by her memories and plagued by her remaining unanswered questions concerning a certain changeling.
