The Stellar Trilogy Book 2: Awake

Kai isn’t really from here. In Book 1 of this magnanimous trilogy, Kai discovers that she is an integral part of an intricately planned recognizance mission to retrieve her father and return him to their people. It seemed that she accomplished her mission. At least in part. She met her father. She found out the truth of her unusual birth circumstances. She and all of The Heaven’s warriors helped save the world and free all the souls trapped by her father in Firewah. For Kai’s part, she fell in love with an Elder and was pregnant with their son-the one designed “to replace the light they lost”. But something went terribly wrong. In a twist of fates she wasn’t prepared for, she was jolted awake from the dream of her very life and now she’s faced with the kind of horrific reality even she couldn’t have imagined was possible. None of it happened. Now seven years have passed. Kai- once so strong, confident and brazen- is now a woman on the brink of break down. What she does not know is she is still as much a part of that recognizance mission as she ever was. But the rules have changed.
