I felt so at home in this space. I loved it. The lady at the counter was very nice. I called on the phone before I went and I could tell the space had nice energy. I loved the book selections. Plenty of body products, clothing, herbs and tonics. GREAT MUSIC SELECTIONS playing in the shop (I rock with Fertile Ground HARD so I was very delighted lol). Thank you! Will be visiting again!

I remember my first time here, it was a few years ago when I was just visiting Nashville at the time and I was just so taken away from this store! It reminded me of a spot back home in Baltimore and this instantly became my favorite spot in Nashville! Since then, whenever I am in town I visit. The parking is tough, at least for me cuz I can’t drive low key lol anyway I’m always able to get a parking spot, and I always can find what I’m looking for or try something new! I love the customer service and location! Best place in town!

Alkebu Lan Images is a phenomenal Black owned Bookstore! The staff is knowledgeable and courteous. The selection of books, T-shirts, incense, jewelry, statues, body oils and products is top notch. This is definitely a destination I visit everytime I am in Tennessee.nBlack bookstores are vital to the community and need to be supported! I LOVE this store ❤️

An amazing bookstore, so full of knowledge and love of the culture. Folx were so kind and helpful there, and helped me get some awesome gifts for friends. I will absolutely come back the next I travel through Nashville
