Very enjoyable bookstore. They were friendly, helpful, and seemed to enjoy their job and socializing with patrons. Great selection. Clean, organized, and spacious. During my visit, they were in the process of wrapping mystery books. I think that is such a great trend going on right now. Because sometimes we dont know what we want to read next, but we want to leave with something 🤔
I used to go this store all of the time to see all of the new stuff that they sold. They sell way more than just books. They have all kind of trinkets for sell. They sell so many types of collectibles. And yes they sell books too. They have so many different literature to choose from. If you can't find a book on a subject you are looking to read up on here, then I am at a loss of words. It is such a peaceful place to go and sit down and read a good book. I almost at times preferred going here over an library, because I found it to be a lot more relaxing. If you want a nice relaxing atmosphere to go and enjoy the day at, then this is the place for you. I would highly recommend it. It is a Top Notch of a place.
Books are often not in stock and must be ordered. Just these past few months they have not had Dark Age (Red Rising series) and Dune Messiah (Dune series) in stock. These are well-known books. As such, I have to wait for them to be shipped or go to Barnes & Noble in Brentwood (they seem to always have everything I need …) It drives me crazy, especially when this location is so convenient. Other than this, I have no complaints. Staff is always pleasant and helpful.
Would not recommend shopping at this location. I came in to purchase a book. I saw the book online at one price, I proceeded to purchase it and a bookmark. Both listed a specific price and rang up higher. In addition the book had a buy 1 get 1 1/2 off sticker . I was told that the book had to be ordered online for pickup in order to get the price listed online. I did that and was told to come back in 10 minutes to get the book. I was also told they repriced the entire store and the bookmarks were missed and the higher price had to be paid and the buy one sticker was old and ended yesterday. No sweat- paid the higher price. I came back to the store to pick up my purchase 10-15 minutes later and they couldn’t process my order due to internet issues.nnThe internet issues are not anyone’s fault, but the pricing is deceptive, the process antiquated and the customer service was non existent and the employee was condescending to me. When I asked questions- I got dismissive responses, dismissive apologies and was told it was my opinion of their service. The employee attempted to make me feel bad because they did not have an organized store, incorrect pricing and that I felt like the entire experience was a scam.nnThey couldve price adjusted initially or immediately after I placed the order online rather than me leaving and coming back to pick up a book I had in my hand. And to be made to feel like it was my fault for asking about the pricing is an issue for me. Since this place no longer values customers – i will no longer be one
I loved this store! There must have been a million books here! Not only was it well stocked with books, there were plenty of action figures, funko pops, Legos and a wide variety of other cool collectibles scattered throughout this spacious store.
