Tucked away deep in Pike Place Market, Lamplight Books is one of those charming little spots you might walk past a few times before realizing it’s there. My cousin and I were basically playing hide and seek because I couldn’t find where she was. Lol. I had a hard time finding it, but once I finally did totally worth it!nnThis cozy bookstore feels like stepping back in time. Shelves are stacked with a mix of used, vintage, and classic books, and honestly… they smell like it too. Lol. There’s just something comforting about that old-book scent. You’ll find everything from fiction and poetry to rare finds and children’s titles tucked in the corners.nnIt’s small, quiet, and slightly perfectly imperfect in the best way because every shelf feels like a treasure hunt! The nostalgic vibe makes you want to linger a little longer. Priced fair, service is fast.nnIf you love books with history and personality, this is a sweet little hidden gem worth discovering inside Pike Place. A nice escape from the Market’s buzz just you, the books, and that unmistakable paper and ink smell.

It is located on the Pike Market area. It is a lovely bookstore not too big but with a great variety of books of all subjects. The vendor is friendly and helpful. I bought several books by Haruki Murakami second hand but looking new and around 11 dollars. Super cheap since they cost the double if you buy them brand new. Super price! It is a must visit if you love books.

Lamplight Books has a wide selection of genres to choose from with cleanly-printed labels along the bookshelves. Some have more titles than others. You can find both older and more recent books along with their price written on the first page in pencil. Given the nature of Pike Place Market being a large gathering of both large and small shops, the smaller area dedicated to the store was expected. If you don’t have issues with mobility, you can walk through the bookshelves; the spaces in-between are narrow. This store is more for passing through than a place to sit (or stand) and read. There is a book cart with discount titles for $1 each outside the store front and a table with regular-priced books as well.

Lamplight Books is another independent bookstore in Pike Place Market. They sell mainly or just used books. It was great to see books that have been out of print for some time as well cookbooks by some of Seattle's best known chefs such as Tom Douglas. Great place to browse as it has a chill vibe and it's inside the market so away from the crowds. A good find to buy a book or kill some time.

This is a good bookstore in the heart of Pike Place Market. Situated behind Las Agave, it's not that easy to locate. The collection of books on offer is quite diverse and there are very unique books to be picked up from herennThey also have sections on used books and $ 1 books. Must visit if you are a book lover or if you want to casual browse books while in Pike Place Market area
