Park Road Books

Stumbled upon this place after having lunch at the soda shop couple doors down. What an absolute adorable place. In an era where everything seems to be digital it’s so nice when you come across an old school book store. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I bought one book because I was in a time crunch but can’t wait to go back when I have more time to check out the selections.

A truly excellent bookstore with outstanding customer service! I have ordered many books from this store instead of using a website known for 2 day shipping and whatnot. There is no extra fee or shipping cost to order a book here either. I'd rather spend my money supporting a local business. I recommend this store to people all the time. Great place, run by great people!

This place is super cute, the employees are fantastic, and they have a cool selection of local authors. There were so many books you don't see just hanging out at bigger chain stores. I loved it. Extensive kids section, also.

This is the best bookstore! I was on the hunt for some new books and Park Road Books had so many of the ones I was looking for. They have a great selection and some beautiful editions of classics. They also have a lovely selection of stationery. The staff here is amazing; they were all so friendly and helpful. I prefer to shop local and this is definitely the place to go for books in Charlotte. Their prices are very fair. I can’t wait to go back!

After reading a few reviews left by others. I can’t imagine how anyone could write badly about this independent bookstore.
