It’s a chain but they do a great job of offering a huge variety of books!

Barnes & Noble in Burlingame has a great selection of books for all ages, making it a nice stop for any book lover. There’s also a section for diaries and cards, which is a nice touch. They have a small kids’ section in the back, which is worth checking out if you’re looking for something for your little ones (I wish this section was bigger). Overall, it’s definitely worth a visit to browse through their selection!

The staff here are friendly and the fiction selection is great. Parking in the area can be a bit difficult and this store is on the smaller side compared to other locations. The biggest downside is that there isn't a manga/graphic novels section. I also quite surprised that the romance section was on the smaller side too.

A lovely bookstore located in Downtown Burlingame. I found my childhood favorite series in this store, Narnia, but they don’t have the whole series unlike the Harry Potter on the next shelf.nAll in all, nice and quiet bookstore. There’s benches for customers to sit down and enjoy some reading. There’s many items besides book, such as plushies, puzzles, DIY kits, and more.nIt’d be a great time spent if you enjoy the atmosphere in the bookstore like me.

I like this store but they've just installed some sort of device (to deter thieves? birds? teenagers?) that makes a loud, sharp, high-pitched bird-like sound every 60 seconds or so. I feel terrible for the employees. I had to leave before completing my purchase.
