They had a really great selection at this store, which is always great, but even better, really helpful and kind employees! I’ll definitely be back to shop here.

If you're looking to trade in items this is not the place. Dropped off a tub of hardcover books (Charlette Bronte novel from 1984 in excellent condition plus others, as well as dozens of classic movies) and got $3 dollars; Didn't even cover half the price I paid for the one movie I bought. No longer a place that has great prices or deals and now feels more like a barnes and noble or some large retail store. Staff is friendly at least.

I love having a used bookstore nearby. I far prefer browsing in person to shopping online for books. You never know what you' are going to find! Prices are great. I regularly take a bag of books and games to the Buy Counter and turn them into cash. (They offer way more than places like Decluttr and Eagle Saver, which I used to have to use because I lived somewhere without used bookstores.) My husband is not a reader, but even he finds DVDs and games here that he loves. Win for everybody!

HPB is always a favorite place of mine to go. There is such a great selection. I love the vintage section. I could stay there for hours. The buy back section is wonderful as well. I love books old and new. The clearance section also never disappoints. I always enjoy picking up a few vintage magazines for my collage stash of materials. I should give myself one day soon to take in an entire store. Oh! And there is always plenty of parking here.

I called about a receipt that was thrown away less than a week ago. Not only do they not have the ability to recover receipts nor do they keep records of them. Instead they offer in store credit after a new evaluation which will drive the value down, and will not refund you, even if you have the cards, dates of purchase, exact dollar amounts, etc. Avoid this place like the plague, as I'm fairly certain they are in violation of public finance and recordkeeping laws. I'll also be reporting to the FTC.
