This is the story of a segment in the life of an amazing dog. I acquired Skrat at the end of his racing career so he could enjoy retirement. He was unique in many ways and I was moved to show him in print. Like many of us, his life wasn’t always fair but he overcame in spite of the odds. I hope this little book brings joy and encouragement to all who enter into Skrat’s world. Nana Carr is a retired nurse anesthetist. I am a member of the Assemblies Church and participated in humanitarian projects in Africa and South America. Hobbies include traveling, the outdoors, writing and recently calligraphy. My family consists of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. I live on a farm in Western, Pennsylvania.
