ABOUTAmin Jaswal is a Punjabi-Canadian poet, cancer advocate and artist.
Diagnosed with Gynaecological cancer in 2020, Amin developed her poetry collection while undergoing cancer treatments in Vancouver, Canada.
Her poetry is written to stir feelings inside its readers, heal wounds of trauma, grief and mourning, and bring hope, light and magic to those who need it most.
Why A. Lights?“A” represents the first letter of her given name, which means peace and purity. “Lights” represents all of the souls that make her life so bright.
