“Love-Lust-Revenge” is a short fast-paced murder/mystery with a twisted romantic overtone.The story is centered around Julius Dent, a successful business man and Pam Cooper the career- oriented young DA who is committed to making a name for herself with her first big case; the case against Julius for the murder of his wife Tiara. After some intense investigation, Pam uncovers information that supports Julius’ claim of innocence and simultaneously discovers an attraction for the man she had vowed to convict of murder. Unfortunately, her attraction to Julius will put her right in the path of an obsessed murderer who will do anything to have Julius for herself – the person who has promised to literally love him to death.The story begins with a short illustration of Pam’s internal struggle between a successful professional career and the loneliness and absence of a meaningful relationship inherit with her career ambitions. She tries to maintain internal balance by relying on the memory of encouragement; and the strength and will to survive instilled in her by her late grandmother.Julius is haunted by his inability to remember details about the day his wife, Tiara, was murdered. Although everything seemingly pointed at him being guilty, he knew deep in his heart that he couldn’t and would never harm the woman he loved more than life itself. Julius’ would have the insurmountable task of convincing someone to believe his innocence; however, he never would have guessed that the one person he trusted as a personal confidant; business partner; and friend, would betray him. What Denise Raye had successfully hidden from other’s for years, was glaringly apparent to her – an obsessive love for a man who was too in love with his wife to notice her undying love and devotion to him. Denise, living out a fantastically sinister plan, vowed to do anything to have the man that she had fallen in love with from the moment she first laid eyes him – she promised to love him to death; something that would be carried out – even after her own death. Brenda, Denise’s sister was institutionalized for years. This was in part by design; however, the truth is that Brenda had developed a deep-seeded mental problem that festered and transformed her into the perfect serial killing machine.
