Official synopsis Publisher
The satiric poems in this volume were rejected 38 times, the Atikah poems 32 times, the others, who knows? Some of these poems were shortlisted for the Sequestrum Literary Prize, some for the Emrys Press Chapbook Prize, some for the Ex Ophilia Poetry Prize, but none of these resulted in publication. Since 2017 more than 220 rejections have been collected, until I stopped submitting; it was taking too much of my time, and other things demanded my attention.
