Official synopsis Publisher
In the contemporary church, dialogue on holiness is rare or even nonexistent. Yet there can be no conversation of God unless his name is synonymous with his holiness. Nor can there be meaningful discussion about relationship with God unless it includes what his call to be holy means in our lives.
Award-winning author Joshua A. McClure’s On Holy Ground is an insightful, powerful portrayal of the sovereign God and his effect on those who respond to his call to be “set apart” to him. McClure emphasizes God’s appeal to his people “to be holy because I am holy” and presents a question: how can we attain to the holiness God wills for us?
God’s divine call to holiness is not a physical appeal to a place or station, nor does it have any relation to worldly apparel. Rather, it is being totally devoted to God, set aside for his special use.
This book is a must read for all people serious about their God-given life in today’s society.
